Decorating 101

My mother came and helped me to decorate my home so that it felt more lived in. Here are a few photos of the great work that she did. Isn't she talented?

I didn't quite know how to decorate above the cabinets but she did.:)

By adding a few knick knacks my mantel looks so good.


This is a vinyl saying that I just added to my wall that I got from a friend of mine that has started a little business. I love it.

Friends Forever

Just over a week ago some friends of ours from Winnemucca were in Las Vegas and we were able to visit with them. This is our Angel #4's best friend that was able to come visit with her. This is at the hotel our friends stayed at. Don't they look so cute!!

My friend from Winnemucca is such an amazing person. We love this family to death. Sorry, I don't have any pictures of her to post. She motivates me so much. She helped me pick out some material to re-upholster my kitchen chairs and then showed me how to do it. Me and the head angel have been working on them and we only have one chair left.

Here is the last chair we have left. Doesn't it look gross?

Here is the new re-upholstered chair. We decided to also put the plastic covering over the material this time to protect them from those angels of ours. I think it looks alot better, and they are so easy to clean off now.

Here's the two next to each other. I love the new chair. Thanks to my good friend from Winnemucca. We love you guys. She also helped me to get some pictures hung on the wall and start to feel like a home. Thanks!!

Happy Birthday to Angel #3 and Grandma Great!!

Our angel #3 shares a birthday with his grandma great. She turned 98 this year so we headed to Utah for a birthday party. Here are a few photos of the two birthday angels.

Here's Angel #3 after opening his presents. We had sort of a 3-day birthday. His birthday fell on a Sunday, so on Monday we went to breakfast and the Shark Reef Aquarium at the Mandalay Bay. It was alot of fun. Happy Birthday Angel #3, and Grandma-Great!!

This is a few days late but better late than never, right. :) Angel #5 turned two this month. We think he hit the terrible two's early though. He's been into everything for a long time. Wow, how fast they grow. We love our angel #5. Happy Birthday!!

How cute are these guys?

After Christmas we went to Corey's for Zachary's baby blessing. What a cute family!!

Papa loving on the baby of the day. It was fun to spend time with everyone, and the babies are so cute.

Christmas-Better Late than Never

Christmas has come and gone. It was alot of fun. We traveled through Utah and saw family there and went on to Idaho where we spent Christmas at Nana and Papa's. Here are a few pictures of the kids from Christmas.

Here is Angel #1 getting a picture of a cell phone. What does this mean? Yes, he now has his own cell phone and he is texting his friends every chance he gets.

Here is Angel #5 with the help of Nana opening his presents. He didn't want to just unwrap and go to the next present, he wanted the toy opened so he could play with it.

Angel #3 getting the scooter he wanted. Doesn't he look happy? He also got a new bike this year and is loving that here in Vegas he is able to ride his bike.

Here is our Angel #4, loving her new baby doll. Both her and her cousin got dolls for Christmas and they spent the whole day playing with them. They were so entertained it was wonderful.

Here is Angel #2 all decked out in some of his sports gear he got for Christmas. He is loving sports and loved these gifts.

I got the camera that took all these pictures and loved it. It takes good pictures and is nicer than our old camera.

Christmas was wonderful, we were so glad we were able to spend it with family.
